Nairobi, Kenya: Inspector general of Police David Kimaiyo has assured the public that they are adequately prepared for the party nominations scheduled for this Thursday.
Kimaiyo said 66,000 police officers will be deployed in 33,000 centres countrywide.
The officers will be drawn from the General Service Unit, Administration Police and regular officers.
Most political parties will be holding their nominations on January 17.
