Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Sunday emphasised that Cord will ensure equitable distribution of resources through devolution to the County level.
While addressing a Sunday service at the African Inland Church in Athi River, Mr Odinga also urged candidates seeking elective seats to work as a team and popularise the coalition.
PM Odinga also said that Cord will ensure full implementation of the Constitution and that his government will address socio-economic challenges facing the country.
“It is time Kenyans realise true change through Cord. Some of those who opposed the Constitution are seeking leadership. Will you trust them to implement the new law?” he asked.
Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka who accompanied PM Odinga said Cord had the ability to unite the whole country and fight ethnicity.
Mr Musyoka urged electorates to turn up in large numbers on March 4, 2013 and elect Raila Odinga as the next president of Kenya.
He also appealed to the losers of party primaries to support the winners so as to strengthen the alliance and ensure clear win in the General Election.
In a rejoinder, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang'ula urged Kenyans to participate in the forthcoming polls in a peaceful manner.
