Minister escapes injury after his car is shot at

An assistant minister on Wednesday evening escaped death narrowly after his vehicle was shot at on the Isiolo-Marsabit road.
Development of Northern Kenya and other Arid Lands assistant minister Hussein Tari Sasura who is also, the Saku MP, was being driven in his official car a Toyota Prado and on reaching Mlima Tatu area in Samburu East, a man dressed in police uniform and armed with a G3 rifle emerged from the bush and started firing at his car.
Two bullets hit the car, missing the legislator by a whisker.
Mr Sasura fired two shots from his Ceska pistol as his driver sped off.
Officers from the Sereolipi Police Station rushed to the scene but no arrests have been made.
