Friday January 11, 2013 - It seems Jubilee alliance’s race to State House is unstoppable after political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi predicted a landslide Jubilee coalition win on March 5th.
In his twitter account on Thursday, Mutahi Ngunyi said Jubilee has numbers since Kenyans are so ethnicised to vote for their tribe.
He said going by the recent voting dynamics as witnessed in Kajiado North by- elections, a Kikuyu will always vote for a Kikuyu and a Kalenjin for a Kalenjin.
Ngunyi who was sometime back a Daily Nation columnist admitted in his twitter account that he was shocked by voter registrations in Jubilee’s strongholds.
Here are some of his tweets....
# Mutahi Ngunyi: Kenyans believe in witchcraft more than science. Kiambu alone has 860,000 registered voters. These jubilee suspects COULD win. Add the math!
#Mutahi Ngunyi: IEBC Ethnic math: Uhuru = 4.3 million votes, Ruto = 1.6 M. Raila = 1.7 M Kalonzo 1M. Jubilee = 5.9 million; CORD = 2.7m. Did I add correctly?
The Jubilee coalition is led by Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto while Coalition for Reform and Democracy popularly known as CORD is led by Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
