MUTAHI NGUNYI predicts a WAITITU landslide win against KIDERO

Monday January 21, 2013 - Political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi has predicted a landslide win for Ferdinand Clifford Ndungu Waititu against Dr Evans Kidero in Nairobi gubernatorial contest on March 4th.

In his twitter account, Mutahi Ngunyi, who is a former Daily Nation political columnist, said Waititu has a huge support among the poor Nairobians and that he will trounce Kidero who is being supported by the middle class and the elite.

Here are some of his tweets.

Mutahi Ngunyi# Yes, I told Jeff Koinange that the Nairobi Governor will be a Waititu type.

Mutahi Ngunyi#Kidero is 'glasshouse' Waititu is 'grassroots'. Kidero should drop the 'posh politics' and show his majengo DNA. He should throw some stones.

Mutahi Ngunyi# I must add: Waititu will be a rocking chair. He will keep us busy; take us nowhere. I am told he was an unsuccessful bank manager. True?

Mutahi Ngunyi# As for Kidero, he is a blind man, in a dark room, chasing a black cat, which is not there. He is saying the right things to the wrong people!

Waititu is vying the seat on The National Alliance (TNA) ticket while Kidero is vying with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket.
