RAILA ODINGA to spend Sh 13 BILLION in CAMPAIGN …… REVEALING the SOURCES




Monday January 14,2013 - With just 49 days remaining to the historic general election, Prime Minister Raila Odinga will spend Sh 13 billion in oiling  his campaign machinery before the March 4th-D-Day,the DAILY POST has established.

The money was raised in the last one year from people the PM campaign team describes as “well wishers”

“Half of this money is in kind and the cash is coming in tranches from the coalition’s friends,” one of the PM aide told journalists.

According to the PM’s budget, Sh 8.2 billion will be used on logistics, Sh 2 billion for posters and advertising and the balance has been allocated to the campaign headquarters for activities to be decided by next week.

Among the major financiers of Raila Odinga’s campaigns are the British and American firms who are interested in being awarded government tenders if CORD forms the next government.

Others are Koreans and Serbian firms who are interested in investing in geothermal and hydropower energies in the country.
