Tuesday January 8, 2013 - Former Friend of Raila Odinga (FORA) lobby group chairman Micah Kigen is warming to ditch Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) for William Ruto’s United Republican Party (URP), DAILY POST has established.
Kigen, who was replaced by Reverend Lawrence Bomett as the National Chairman of FORA on Monday, said he will make a major announcement this week.
Kigen was very instrumental in the formation of Raila’s lobby group and he was committed in marshalling ODM’s party support countrywide.
Our moles told us Kigen has been approached by URP emissaries and it is just a matter of time before he joins the Jubilee coalition.
This will be a big boost for Ruto, since Kigen was the only challenger of URP in the populous Rift Valley region.
