Saturday January 26, 2013 - Narc -Kenya Presidential hopeful Martha Karua has said neither the CORD alliance nor Jubilee coalition can bring change to the country.
Addressing her supporters at Mariakani Christian Centre in Nairobi on Friday, Martha Karua took a swipe to both coalitions’ leaders saying they cannot be entrusted with the leadership of the country.
“Between these candidates one is currently serving as the PM while the others are deputy PMs…… During their tenure, they have failed to tackle corruption,” Karua said.
Karua, who is the former Gichugu MP, particularly urged Kenya electorate to reject Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto since they have International Criminal Court (ICC) cases which they are supposed to answer in April.
“The two are currently grappling with heavy loads on their heads and it would be desirable for voters to give them time –off to attend to their cases,” she said.
She further stated that her government will slay the dragon of corruption, create jobs for the youth and empower the poor if elected the President on March 5th.
