KISUMU; NYANZA: Chaotic scenes have been witnessed in Nyando Constituency and Kisumu County areas on Saturday morning after voters disputed the ODM party nomination results.
In Ahero, Nyando Constituency, voters protested against the announcement of Fred Outa as the ODM winner in parliamentary nominations. They say Jared Okelo won the nominations.
In Kondele, Kisumu County, voters also rioted against Ruth Odinga’s victory in ODM gubernatorial nominations saying Jack Ranguma won the nominations.
Transport has been paralysed in the two areas.
