Two TERROR SUSPECTS arrested by police in Garissa

Friday, the 11th of January 2013 - The Kenyan DAILY POST has received reports that police officers in Garissa have today arrested two terror suspects in the town’s Ifo Market.

Police say that the suspects were arrested with 241 rounds of ammunition. The source also said that the suspects were refugees from the Daadab Camp which has experienced a series of attacks in the past few months.

The arrests highlight the danger of Kenya’s porous border with Somalia which makes it difficult to prevent potential terrorists, mostly members of the Al Shabaab terror unit, from simply crossing over to target innocent Kenyans.
