Tuesday January 15, 2013 - Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and his counterpart Eldoret North MP William Ruto will today pitch tent in Ukambani, to woo the Kamba community in supporting their presidential bid.
The two are expected to hold major rallies in Makueni and Kitui counties as their Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) counterparts camp in Marsabit County.
Uhuru and Ruto have a hard time trying to convince the Kamba community to support their bid as the area is perceived to be a CORD alliance stronghold.
The two energetic politicians will be accompanied by Narc Party leader Charity Ngilu and Mutitu MP Kiema Kilonzo among other Kamba leaders.
